To create a new invoice from scratch, click the New Invoice button on your main dashboard, then select an existing client or click "Add New Client". You can then add your line items, adjust dates, and preview the PDF before sending your professional bill.
Step-by-Step:
- From the main dashboard, click the New Invoice button.
- Select a Client: Choose an existing client from the dropdown or click "Add New Client" to enter their details.
- Invoice Details: The Invoice Number and Issue Date are generated automatically, but you can adjust them. Set your desired Due Date.
- Add Items: Click Add Item to insert a new line. Enter the description, quantity, and price. The totals and taxes will calculate automatically.
- Notes (Optional): Add a personal thank you message or extra instructions at the bottom.
- The invoice saves automatically as a draft as you type! When you are finished, you can hit Preview to see the final document.
